SPARTANBURG, S.C. (WSPA) – South Carolina Department of Transportation reported that more than 200 trees were downed during storms Friday in South Carolina.

SCDOT said in a Tweet that crews responded to reports of downed trees, debris and roadway flooding after severe weather passed through the state.

The post reminded drivers to obey all barricades and to never attempt to drive on a road that had been closed. They also reminded people that downed trees can be entangled with power lines, which can be extremely dangerous.
