Search continues for armed robbery suspect in Anderson

ANDERSON, S.C. (WSPA) – Police are still searching for a masked man who robbed an Anderson store.

The Dollar Tree on South Main Street was robbed around 8:03 p.m. Thursday.

A black man wearing all black and a black ski mask entered the store, pulled a handgun and demanded money, according to Anderson police.

The man fled the scene on foot.

A K-9 was called to assist in the search.

A spokesman with Anderson Police Department said officers did not apprehend the suspect.

Officers are working with store management to obtain video of the robbery.
