TAYLORS, S.C. (WSPA) – The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to find a missing vehicle that belonged to a man who was killed.

Hall Edward Eskew, 53, of Greer, was found dead near a railroad crossing at Chick Springs Road and Michell Drive in Taylors Wednesday.

The coroner’s office said Eskew was shot in the head.

The sheriff’s office says Eskew was reported missing in Spartanburg County that same day.

They are now looking for his missing vehicle: a white 2014 Ford F250 pickup with SC tag PFX 838.

Eskew’s family and friends say they mourn his death and remember his humor, his talent in serving others in hospitality and construction, and his love of the outdoors and his dogs.

The victim’s brother Tucker Eskew, who is a political and communications strategist who served as Deputy Assistant to the President for Media Affairs and Global Communications under President George W. Bush, released the following statement.

My brother and sister and I are eager for law enforcement to deliver justice for this horrible act and we appreciate everyone’s prayers and support at this difficult time.

If anyone has any information concerning this incident or the vehicle, call the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office at 271-5210 or CrimeStoppers at 23-CRIME.
