South Carolina Law Enforcement Division said a Seneca woman was arrested for embezzling funds from the Oconee County Solid Waste Department.

SLED said Bobbi Jo Miller, 38, was working as the office manager at the Oconee County Solid Waste Department between Oct. 19, 2018 and Nov. 29, 2018 when the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office asked them to investigate the embezzlement.

Miller has been charged with safekeeping, transfer and disbursement of county funds and embezzlement of less than $10,000 of those funds, according an arrest warrant.

Miller was taken to the Oconee County Detention Center and will be prosecuted by the 10th Judicial Circuit Court Solicitor’s Office.
