Shooting victim drives self to Anderson store, police say

ANDERSON, S.C. (WSPA) — Police are investigating a shooting in the city of Anderson.

The shooting happened Thursday morning. 

Captain Mike Aikens said it’s unknown exactly where the victim was shot. Aikens said the victim drove to the Plez U store on Williamston Road.

The victim was shot three times.

His condition was not immediately available.

Police say it’s believed the victim was shot at The Woodlands apartments on Woodland Drive, which is just over a mile from the store. 

No suspect information or arrests have been announced as of 1 p.m. Thursday.
