Simpsonville Memorial Day Ceremony

SIMPSONVILLE, S.C. (WSPA) — Several 100-year-old veterans and fallen military members will be honored at a Memorial Day Ceremony in Simpsonville, city officials say.

U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham is expected to attend the event.

Captain Curtis Straeter will be the keynote speaker.

Capt. Straeter has served as the Deputy Secretary of the General Staff for 5th Signal Command, Europe, Signal Support OIC for Headquarters ISAF, Afghanistan, Battle Captain in the Regional Cyber Center, Europe, and Executive Officer of Headquarters and Headquarters Company, U.S. Army Europe.
