Slater-Marietta fire chief placed on 2 week suspension

MARIETTA, S.C. (WSPA) – Slater-Marietta Fire Department’s chief firefighter was placed on a two week suspension Wednesday.

According to the Slater-Marietta Fire Commissioner Shane Cody, Fire Chief Marion Cruell was suspended for a personnel matter.

He will be reinstated on January 14, according to Cody.
