Southwest Airlines grounds flights nationwide due to computer outage


Chicago – Southwest Airlines has grounded their flights nationwide because of a widespread computer outage.

CBS is reporting that Southwest Airlines is experiencing massive delays.

The FAA has said the problems have caused a nationwide ground stop.

CBS Chicago is being told that automated check-in and baggage systems are down and passengers are being checked in by hand on paper tickets.

Southwest said on Twitter they are aware and investigating the current issues with their systems.
