Spare Time Entertainment Opens with Laser Tag, Escape Rooms, Bowling and More

News

A national entertainment hub “Spare Time Entertainment” opened its 17th location Tuesday in Greenville.

Spare Time Entertainment boasts 52,000 square feet filled with all sorts of entertainment, including a game room, laser tag adventure, 22 lanes of bowling, 4 escape rooms, 4 bars and a restaurant with seating on an outdoor patio.

“We offer an upscale um small plate and shareables, but our menu is also much bigger than that. We do hand-stretched pizzas here, and we have a 29-inch hand-stretched goliath pizza. We also feature really great burgers, and we have a filet on our menu as well,” Entertainment Manager Steve Klotz says.

This location is the first to include escape rooms in the company, which is family owned. “If you came to Spare Time you’ll experience all your entertainment needs in one roof,” he explains. “You’re going to get awesome service, we have great food and beverages, brand new state-of-the-art games, a fully custom laser tag experience, and there’s nothing like it in the country, and 4 escape rooms that were also custom built.”

Spare Time Entertainment is located at 822 Congaree Rd in Greenville. Laser tag games are $8 a person, bowling starts at $5.99 per game and escape rooms are $24 per person. Hours are 10am to midnight Sunday through Thursday and 10am to 2am on Friday and Saturday. For more information, visit their website.
