SPARTANBURG Co., S.C. (WSPA) — A Chesnee man is accused of sex crimes against a minor and another victim who was incapacitated.
Donald Patrick Adams, 46, is charged with second-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor, as well as third-degree criminal sexual conduct.
Arrest warrants state the alleged crimes happened between June 2016 and January 2017.
One victim was between 14 and 16 years old when she was sexually assaulted, while another “victim was mentally defective, mentally incapacitated, or physically helpless,” according to arrest warrants.
In January, a deputy was dispatched to a home on Huskey Road for a sexual offense call. The case was presented to a judge on Monday. Adams was booked into jail the following day and remains in the Spartanburg County Detention Center.
