(WSPA) — A Spartanburg County man accused of murdering his wife almost 10 months ago was captured outside a convenience store in Maryland.
Adrian Dejuan McClintock, 41, was wanted for the murder of Temisha Lachelle Collier.
On June 26, Collier was found shot to death in the doorway of a house on Tamara Way. The coroner says she died of multiple gunshot wounds to her chest and back.
McClintock fled the scene.
Deputies announced Monday that McClintock has been arrested after months on the run.
Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Kevin Bobo said McClintock was arrested Thursday night by U.S. marshals outside a convenience store in the Baltimore, Maryland area.
Bobo said McClintock confessed to the crimes during an interview with investigators on Friday.
McClintock is awaiting extradition to the Spartanburg County.
