SPARTANBURG Co., S.C. (WSPA) — A murder suspect remains on the run accused of killing his wife.

On Tuesday, Spartanburg County deputies responded to a shooting at a home on Tamara Way.

Sheriff Chuck Wright said Temisha Collier was found dead in the doorway of the Spartanburg house.

Deputies say Collier was shot to death.

The sheriff’s office says Temisha Collier was a mother, but no children were in the home.

Her husband – Adrian McClintock – has been identified as the murder suspect.

“I do know that they have been recently married. There was a history of domestic violence in this relationship. That’s why I want to tell the women or the men that might be a victim – you don’t have to put up with this. You do not have to live in this,” Sheriff Wright said.

Deputies found numerous shell casings around the mother’s lifeless body, according to an incident report.

McClintock, 40, is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs around 180 pounds. He’s believed to be driving a black 2010 Chevrolet Camaro with a S.C. license plate of PDY 259.

McClintock is considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information of his whereabouts is asked to call 911 or Crime Stoppers at 1-888-CRIMESC (274-6372).
