Spartanburg PD reps. escort family of fallen officer to National Police Week in D.C.

SPARTANBURG, SC (WSPA) – Spartanburg Police Department representatives escorted the family of one of their fallen officers to Washington, D.C. this week.

According to the police department’s Facebook post, police were with the family of Jason G. Harris, an officer who was killed in a motorcycle crash while responding to a call in April 2017.

Harris’ family took part in events for National Police Week, which honors those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
