SPARTANBURG, S.C. (WSPA) — A woman is accused of stabbing a man at a Spartanburg apartment complex.

A police report says officers responded Tuesday to a report of a man bleeding from his head at Norris Ridge Apartments.

Witnesses told police they saw the suspect, identified as Chalishia Sullivan, stab a male. Sullivan reportedly went back into her apartment while the victim took off through the complex.

Police saw drops of blood outside and on the front door knob of Sullivan’s apartment, the report says. A broken knife was reportedly found lying near more drops of blood inside the apartment.

Sullivan told police she cut her finger.

She reportedly refused to get back into a police car and kicked an officer twice in the chest while being placed into a police car.

Sullivan, 28, is charged with attempted murder and remains in the Spartanburg County Detention Center, according to jail records.

The victim was transported for treatment by EMS.
