The City of Spartanburg predicts 75,000 will make it to the city’s annual Spring Fling festival.

Over seventy local and national acts like Nashville recording artist William Michael Morgan and hip hop artist Kent Jones will be performing on stage. Those performances even include live paintings by “The Maddd Artist” Roderice Cardell.

Food and craft vendors are selling everything from giant turkey legs and chocolate dipped cheesecake on sticks to art that is shown in a juried art market.

The Kenyan acrobatic group Zuzu African Acrobats will be performing stunts and human pyramids on the lawn at Morgan Square Saturday and Sunday. The zip line, classic car show and bike show are also main attractions, not to mention plenty of food.

Friday night the Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System Criterium Cycling race is also bringing 400 amateur and pro cyclists through the streets of downtown, reaching speeds of up to 40 mph!

Festival goers should bring an ID and cash, but leave pets and coolers at home. The event is non-smoking.

Organizers said don’t smoke, bring your pets inside or forget your sunscreen!
