Having three meals a day is becoming a thing of the past for many families across the United States.
A new study, conducted by OnePoll partnered with Farm Rich, finds only 27% of Americans still eat the traditional breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Researchers asked 2,000 people about their eating habits and found the average person eats only two meals a day, along with three snacks.
The most commonly replaced meal of the day was lunch with 49% of people opting to eat a snack instead.
Busy schedules and the desire for more variety with food were the main reasons for people not eating the tradition three meals a day.
