One in five baby boomers regret not traveling, according to the consumer site MarketWatch. Censuswide conducted the survey, asking 2,000 people age 65 and up about their biggest regret. The survey was on behalf of British Airways.
People responded that they didn’t travel because they were busy doing other things. Work commitments were another reason, along with child care considerations.
Travel does have downsides including the cost. Another survey in 2015, found that 42% of people spent more than $1500 on vacations each year.
