Suspect arrested after manhunt near I-385 in Greenville

GREENVILLE Co., S.C. (WSPA) — A wanted man was captured following an hours-long manhunt. 

Greenville County dispatch says police and deputies chased a man reportedly armed with a gun that was later recovered.

Officers were seen searching for the suspect around 11 p.m. Thursday on Woodruff Road at the I-385 interchange. 

7 News is told the suspect – wanted by Greenville Police Department – was arrested around 1 a.m. Friday.

His name and charges have not been released at this time.
