Suspect makes himself at home after break-in

LIMESTONE Co., Ala. (WSPA) — An Alabama grandmother says a stranger broke into her house and acted as if it was home-sweet-home.

WAAY reports Mary Royster arrived home to find the suspect doing laundry.

Royster tells the news station she confronted the man.

“What are you doing in my house? And he said, ‘Waiting on my clothes to dry.’ I said, ‘Well, who are you?’ He said, ‘I’m your grandson, don’t you know who I am?’ and I said, ‘No!’” Royster recalled.

Royster said her belongings were rummaged through and the burglar took a bath and even scrambled eggs.

She said he refused to leave until officers arrested him.

WAAY reports the suspect has been identified as 31-year-old Tyler Love. He’s reportedly charged with burglary and in jail on a $10,000 bond.
