SUV lands on side, hits power pole on Gap Creek Rd in Spartanburg Co.


SPARTANBURG COUNTY, SC (WSPA) – South Carolina Highway Patrol said no one was injured in a crash on Gap Creek Road Monday morning.

According to Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 9:55 a.m. on Gap Creek Road near SC 357.

Highway Patrol said the vehicle ran off the road and landed on its side, while also hitting a CPW power pole.

According to Highway Patrol, there were three people, believed to be juveniles, in the vehicle at the time of the crash.

The power pole snapped as a result of the crash, but did not fall.

Highway Patrol said charges are pending.
