WALHALLA, SC (WSPA) – SWAT and deputies served a search warrant at a home after controlled buys of narcotics, according to Oconee Co. Sheriff’s Office.

It happened in the 300 block of Coffee Rd. on Wednesday.

Deputies say the suspect who lives there has outstanding warrants related to the investigation and wasn’t there when the search warrant was executed.

They are withholding his name and they follow up on leads.

James M. Brown Elementary School was out on Code Yellow during the search, but there was no danger to the school or public, according to the sheriff’s office.
