UNION, S.C. (WSPA) — A teen is accused of pulling out a pocket knife in a confrontation with another student at Union County High School.

Union Police Department charged Samuel Tyler Whiteaker, 17, of Union with possession of a weapon on school property.

Whiteaker had a two and a half inch long pocket knife at Union County High School on Tuesday, according to an arrest warrant.

A police report says Whiteaker was playing music on a laptop in class when another student closed the computer because the music was too loud.

Whiteaker allegedly took a pocket knife out of his book bag and told the girl he was not playing with her.

The knife was later found in his book bag.

Whiteaker reportedly told authorities he got angry because the other student closed his computer.
