Teen shot in leg, Spartanburg Police investigating

Emergency crews responded to a shooting Thursday afternoon in Spartanburg.

According to dispatch officials, the shooting happened in the area of the 200 block of Caulder Circle. 

Spartanburg Police said the teenager was walking when he “felt something.”

Police told 7News crews on scene that they were working to determine where exactly the teen was when he was shot. Police said the teen had walked to the 200 block of Caulder Circle before calling police. 

The gunshot wound was not life threatening, according to police. The teen was transported by EMS to an area hospital.
