The family of a mother killed in front of her kids wants answers

“The little girl witnessed it and she says “they shoot shoot they shoot shoot where’s mama where’s mama?”

It just breaks my heart because you don’t know what to tell her she’s only three years old she won’t understand,” Alexsa Epley said.

Just days after Alexandra Toney was killed her family still can’t find the right words to explain to her two children that their mother is gone.

Toney’s family says the father of her second child, Victor Ogan, has been missing for weeks and they wonder if that is related to her death.
“January 19th he went missing, the following week my sister was robbed, a week after that she was killed,” Alexsa Epley said.

Alexandra Toney’s family would like the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office to continue investigating her murder.

They say they think there is more to the story than Linda Huntley being charged for her murder.

They hope investigators are putting their full effort into finding more answers.

“Just because someone is black or because they’re gay or because they may have been in the streets does not mean that they don’t deserve an equal chance to have justice,” Jennifer Drake said
