LYMAN, S.C.(WSPA) – The Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office has identified the man that was found dead on Lyman Lake Saturday morning.
The Spartanburg County Coroner said that they responded to 200 Lyman Lodge Road regarding a dead body in the water. The corner said they do not believe there was any foul play.
The victim was identified as Patrick Britton Funderburk, 52, of Lyman. According to the coroner, Funderburk was last seen or spoken to on June 1st.
The coroner said that the death occurred between 5:05 p.m. on June 1st and 7:42 a.m. on June 3rd. A forensic exam has been scheduled. Investigators said there is no threat to the public at this time.
