UNION COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) — One person died following a single-vehicle crash in Union County Friday morning.
According to South Carolina Highway Patrol, a car was travelling on Highway 9 near Mt. Zion Road when it left the roadway and struck a ditch around 7:00am.
The driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was thrown from the car and died as a result, troopers said.
The Union County Coroner identified the victim as 28-year-old Shaquervious Foster of Chester.
Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash.
