GREER, S.C. (WSPA) – A trampoline that was damaged earlier this month, and then replaced by officers, has been damaged again, according to the Greer Police Department.
The trampoline belongs to a family who uses it for their two autistic boy’s physical therapy.
“Oh [it’s] terrible, it got me mad and worried because I wondered who done it,” Juliana Delgado, the little boy’s grandmother, said. “They need that more than anything because they are really hyper.”
The trampoline was cut earlier this month and officers from the Greer Police Department decided to help.
They gathered money and helped replace it this weekend.
“Our main focus after we serve and protect the community is to have compassion on the community and try to show that in the service we do,” Officer Chris Montgomer explained.
But someone cut the trampoline again, police say.
“It actually didn’t make me sad, it made me mad,” Eli Moralez, the 9-year-old boy who jumps on his grandmother’s trampoline. “I hope that I get to play on it again. That is the only thing I hope.”
