Trump named Time’s Person of the Year

(WSPA) – President-elect Donald Trump has been named Time magazine’s Person of the Year.

The announcement was made Wednesday.

On the cover announcing its choice, Time Magazine has the caption “President of the Divided States of America.”

Trump called it an honor and said he’s working to bring the country together in an interview shortly after the magazine was unveiled.

Time’s managing editor Nancy Gibbs said Hillary Clinton was the No. 2 finalist, the Associated Press reports.
