UNION Co., S.C. (WSPA) — A Union woman is accused of abandoning two dogs, including one that was found starving.

Andrea Holcombe, 32, is charged with animal neglect, according to a Union County Sheriff’s Office report.

A deputy responded Thursday to a report of an abandoned, malnourished dog at 710 Meansville Road.

According to the report, Holcombe allegedly left two dogs behind at the residence. A concerned neighbor called 911 after seeing the dogs eating food left out for stray cats.

One dog was reportedly weak and emaciated.

A veterinarian diagnosed the dog with “chronic starvation.”
