Upstate man dies at work, electrocution likely says coroner

GREENVILLE, S.C. (WSPA) — The Greenville County Coroner’s Office is investigating after a man was found unresponsive and later pronounced dead at work.

David Joseph Lambert, 52, of Moore was found unresponsive around 8:45 a.m. Wednesday, according to the coroner’s office.

The address in the report where the death occurred is 309 Delaware Street in Greenville.

“Mr. Lambert was an electrician by trade and he likely came in contact with an electrical current,” the coroner said in a written statement.

Lambert was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Greenville County Coroner’s Office is awaiting the results of an autopsy.

A joint investigation by the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office and the Greenville County Coroner’s Office is ongoing at this time.
