HALL COUNTY, GA. (WSPA) – Two teenagers were arrested after an Upstate teen was found shot on a Georgia road Tuesday afternoon and later died.

According to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the 2000 block of Walker Street near Chicopee Street at 4:30 p.m.

Deputies found Junior Gabriel Linares, 18, of Greenville, with a gunshot wound to the chest. He was taken to the hospital where he died.

Deputies recovered a handgun and interviewed people who were at the location at the time of the gunshot.

According to deputies, Victor Alejandro Flores, 18, of Gainesville is charged with the following:

  • involuntary manslaughter (felony)
  • tampering with evidence (felony)
  • possession of a handgun during the commission of a crime (felony)
  • possession of THC oil (felony)
  • reckless conduct (misdemeanor)

Arrest warrants have been issued for Anthony Rebollar, 18, of Gainesville, on the following charges:

  • tampering with evidence (felony)
  • possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime (felony)
  • possession of THC Oil (felony)

Both men remain in the Hall County Jail without bond. The case remains under investigation, further arrests are not expected.
