Vehicles catch fire outside Dollar General warehouse

UNION Co., S.C. (WSPA) — Four cars caught fire at the Dollar General distribution center in Jonesville.

No one was reportedly hurt in the Wednesday morning fire.

Jonesville Fire Chief DJ Long said they are still working to determine the cause of the fire, but that they are leaning towards an electrical issue.

During the fire, the fuel line of a vehicle caught fire and caused a fuel spill.

The cars are parked beside each other.

No one was in the cars at the time of the fires.

Jonesville, Kelly-Kelton and Bonham fire crews responded.

A spokesperson for the company tells 7 News that “Dollar General is working with local officials and fire crews.”
