Vendors for Lake Lure Arts and Crafts Festival support local community outreach


October 20 and 21 you can support students and the hungry in the Carolinas. 
Organizers said that the Autumn Lake Lure Arts and Crafts Festival benefits the Hickory Nut Gorge Outreach. This festival happens twice a year. 
Vendor registration fees benefit the Hickory Nut Gorge Outreach and backpack program, working to feed those in need of food in their community.
Organizers also said they offer a food pantry and help serve holiday meals to those in need and offer backpacks full of food for children. 
A release from the town details that there are more than 100 food and artisan vendors combined offering photography, art and local food for sale. There are also performances at the festival, demonstrated live on 7 News Carolina Morning by the Lake Lure Cloggers

The event happens outside of the1927 Lake Lure Inn  and Spa
