Volunteers in the West Virginia town of Kenova are getting in the halloween spirit.

They are spending days gutting and carving pumpkins for the “Kenova Pumpkin House.”

The owner, Ric Griffith, says 3,000 pumpkins will be on display again this year.

Getting the pumpkins ready takes several days and about 1,000 volunteers.
