Volunteers wanted to search for missing fisherman in Abbeville Co.

The sister of missing fisherman Mitchell Gibson is asking for volunteers to search the lake for her brother.

Mitchell was last seen on March 12. His truck and trailer we found the next day at Beer Creek Garden landing.

Kelly Starr Johnson says neither Mitchell or the boat have ever been found.

She is looking for VOLUNTEERS with sidescan/downscan imaging to come out on Saturday, May 7th, from about 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. to do one more full grid search of the lake.

She says the will meet at Beer Creek Garden landing in Calhoun Falls, SC.

The search and will be there between 4-5 p.m. to assign areas and make sure each area of the lake is covered.

She says they are going to help each boat with a gas gift card, food and drinks.

They will be getting to the landing around 3 p.m. to set up.
