SWANNANOA, NC (WSPA) – All customers in the area of Bee Tree Road in Swannanoa have now had their water service restored after storms knocked out water service days ago.
Final repairs were completed around 10:00pm Tuesday, according to the city of Asheville.
Around 300 customers were without water after flooding on Bee Tree Creek caused a waterline to rupture on April 19 and April 20.
Crews had to wait until flood waters receded before they could complete repairs.
Around half of the affected customers had their water restored Monday evening.
Customers in the area will have to boil their water until water quality tests have been completed, which will be at least 24 hours.
