Weekend Happenings: Oct. 28-29


(WSPA)— If you missed it last weekend, Boo in the Zoo returns tonight through Sunday. Held at the Greenville Zoo, it features a princess castle, an un-haunted house and trick or treating. Celebrating it’s 30th year, organizers encourage both kids and their parents to dress up. Friday night hours range from 5:30 until 8. Saturday and Sunday hours are from 4PM until 8PM. You can buy tickets online or at their booths.

There’s another chance to celebrate Halloween for Halloween at Heritage Park in Simpsonville. Check it out tomorrow from 12:30 until 7:30. It’s a free community event packed with family activities. During the day they’ll have inflatables, games, crafts and a hay ride. Then at 5PM kids can trick or treat down their trick or treat trail.

Taste some of the best food from food trucks all over the south for the Upstate’s Largest Food Truck Festival. It’s happening at Union’s Fair Grounds tomorrow from noon until 7. Admission costs $7. Kids ten and under get in for free. You will need money to purchase food. They’ll have live music and entertainment. For kids, they will have pony rides, face painting, a costume contest and free candy.
