Woman accused of attempted murder after stabbing man in Oconee Co.


OCONEE COUNTY, SC (WSPA) – Oconee County Sheriff’s Office officials arrested a woman on an attempted murder charge after she reportedly stabbed her husband several times last week.

According to a sheriff’s office news release, deputies were called to Sam Drive in Seneca in reference to a domestic violence incident involving a stabbing on Friday.

A man had reportedly called 911 and reported that he had been stabbed multiple times by his wife, and when deputies arrived they found the man in the bathroom of the home.

Deputies then saw the man had been stabbed several times.

Nell Delores Reeder was found by deputies in the home and after an investigation, she was arrested and charged with attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

She was taken to the Oconee County Detention Center.

The man was flown to Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
