SPARTANBURG, SC (WSPA) – Halye Pearson, 26, has been arrested and charged with Cruelty to Children, according to warrants from Spartanburg Co. Sheriff’s Office.
It happened on August 31 around 10:40 p.m., according to the report.
Deputies responded to Cedar Springs Place for a disturbance involving a juvenile.
The report said Pearson had gotten into a fight with a neighbor, according to a witness.
A deputy said they spoke to Pearson and she appeared to be under the influence because she had a hard time standing and couldn’t focus on the conversation.
She was in the home and had a 7 and 3 year old with her.
