Woman killed in Anderson Co. motorcycle crash, coroner says

ANDERSON CO., S.C. (WSPA) – A woman has died after a crash involving a motorcycle in Anderson County, Saturday morning.

The crash happened around 7:24am on Monitor Drive, according to South Carolina Highway Patrol. 

Troopers say the crash involved a 2009 Harley-Davidson motorcycle and a 2007 Chevrolet Impala. 

The female driver of the motorcycle was killed, according to the coroner.

29-year-old Sarah Lynn Wilson was thrown from the bike and died at the scene of the crash from her injuries.

The 67-year-old man driving of the Impala was not hurt. 

Troopers say charges are pending.

The Highway Patrol’s multi-disciplinary accident investigation team will continue to investigate.

The identity of the victim has not yet been released.
