NINETY SIX, SC (WSPA) – Ninety Six High School Head Football Coach Andre Woolcock has taken the head coaching job at Eastside High School, he confirmed to 7Sports Friday afternoon.
Woolcock, a former Eastside High School assistant coach from 2012 to 2016, will be formally introduced at a Monday news conference.
His Ninety Six team this past season posted a 9-3 record in his second year guiding the Wildcats.
I would like to thank @NSFootball2018 for allowing me to be the head coach over the last two seasons. Ninety Six is a great place filled with great people, and I will always be appreciative for the opportunity they provided me with. Thank you Ninety Six for two great years. — Andre Woolcock (@coachwoolcock) April 26, 2019
Ninety Six Prinicipal Darin Rice said a search will begin immediately to find Woolcock’s successor, with a hope to have a new head coach in place by mid-May.
Woolcock replaces Dan Morgan at Eastside. Morgan left earlier this year to take an assistant coaching job in the Columbia area, after guiding the Eagles the past two seasons.
