Palmetto State’s Top Hoops Prospect Picks Tennessee

The player regarded as the top basketball prospect in South Carolina in this year’s senior class, Porter Gaud combo guard Josiah James, says he’ll play his college basketball at Tennessee.

James made the announcement at his Charleston school Wednesday, surprising many who’d projected he’d remain in state at attend Clemson.

Duke was the third finalist for James, who will play for the Volunteers under former Clemson coach Rick Barnes.
