SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Led by Jordan Gainey’s 20 points, the South Carolina Upstate Spartans defeated the Charleston Southern Buccaneers 77-60 on Wednesday night.
The Spartans improved to 11-13, 6-7 with the win and the Buccaneers fell to 8-16, 4-9.
Justin Bailey (Blue Ridge HS) contributed 15 points in the Spartans’ win.
