Dorman’s Dylan Rogers tripled and homered and the Cavaliers built an early lead en route to a 7-0 win over River Bluff Wednesday night to force a decisive game three in the 5A state finals baseball series.
The Cavaliers and Gators will meet Saturday at Lander University after winning games on their respective home fields.
Dorman’s athletic director Flynn Harrell said Wednesday night that a time had yet to be agreed upon.
All other scheduled baseball and softball games were rained out Wednesday night and postponed to Thursday.
The Thursday schedule is as follows:
Latta at Chesnee baseball, 5pm
Andrews at Landrum softball, 6pm
White Knoll at Byrnes softball, 6:30pm
Hanahan at Palmetto softball, 7:30pm
