Dorman’s Tate picks Butler for his college basketball

Sports

Dorman rising senior guard Miles Tate announced via Twitter Monday night that he’ll play his college basketball at Butler.

Tate averaged 18.1 points, 4.6 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game last season for the three-time defending state champion Cavaliers.

Tate picked the Bulldogs over South Carolina, among others.

His teammate P.J. Hall, a post player, has yet to announce his college plans.

Tate can make his plans official during the early signing period in November.
