Mike Bothwell & Jalen Slawson have been close friends since each arrived at Furman 5 years ago. However, their on court chemistry took a little more time as each had to find his role on the team. Entering Saturday’s SoCon Tournament opener, Bothwell is averaging nearly 18 points a game while Slawson averages nearly 16 points and more than 7 rebounds a contest.
