Dan Morgan told 7 Sports Tuesday afternoon he’s steppding down as Eastside High School head football coach after two seasons to return to the Columbia area, where he previously worked.
Morgan guided the Eagles to their best two-year stretch in program history with an 18-6 record, including an 11-2 mark in 2017.
Morgan says he’s taking a job on the staff at Spring Valley High School in the Capital City. Before arriving at Eastside, he was head coach at Blythewood High just outside of Columbia.
