Fletcher Magee got to meet the iconic Magic Johnson among his experiences in recent weeks with his name in the NBA Draft pool.
But Friday night, he announced he’s pulling his name from consideration and will return to Wofford for his senior season.
Magee averaged better than 22 points this past season to lead the Southern Conference by nearly seven points over second place Francis Alonzo of UNCG.
His 44 per cent three point ratio and 148 made threes were also among the best in the NCAA in those categories.
With Magee back in the fold, Wofford returns its starting five from last year’s 21-win squad that knocked-off both North Carolina and Georgia Tech.
