In addition to Clemson moving up its start time against Georgia Southern Saturday in Death Valley from 3:30pm to noon and cancellations of games at USC and at Furman, other college games in the region have also been impacted.
Presbyterian’s scheduled home opener against Stetson has been canceled.
Limestone’s game at Tusculum has been moved up to Friday at 7pm.
North Greenville canceled its Saturday night home game against Mississippi College.
Western Carolina at Gardner-Webb will now be played on Friday at 6pm in Boiling Springs, NC instead of on Saturday.
Newberry College has moved its game against Virginia University-Lynchburg from Saturday to Thursday at 1pm.
The Southern Miss at Appalachian State game has been called off, although the schools hope to arrange a make-up date.
Georgia moved up the start of its game against Middle Tennessee to noon from an initial 7:15pm time.
Earlier this week, the Charleston Southern at The Citadel game was postponed with the hope the game can be made-up in late November depending on the FCS postseason status for each school.
North Carolina Central at S.C. State was also postponed.
Wednesday afternoon in Buis Creek, NC, Coastal Carolina defeated Campbell, 58-21, in a game originally scheduled for Saturday in Conway.
