South Carolina athletic director Ray Tanner told a Columbia radio station Wednesday that a game to replace the one against Marshall that was knocked-out due to Hurricane Florence will not be scheduled for October 20th, USC’s open date.

Tanner told 107.5 The Game that if South Carolina is not in the SEC Championship Game on December 1st that will be the desired opportunity and he has been in contact with three schools.

The Gamecocks travel to number 17 Kentucky this weekend.

The game that was called off on September 15th against Marshall was one of seven home games on the schedule this season.
